To join the channels, you need an irc client such as irssi.
The following commands may be used inside your IRC client to connect to my server and join a channel:
/connect irc.binaryspawn.com
/join #general
There is a bot in #general called bot.
To use Tor + IRC Off-the-Record (OTR) Messaging:
pacman -S irssi tor torsocks
torify irssi
Once in irssi:
/load otr
/query nickname
/otr init
It should show Session secured
To Authenticate:
/otr auth SHARED_SECRET
To show the state of an OTR conversation:
/statusbar window add otr
